Job Summary: The Guest Services Representative will provide professional and exemplary customer service to all guests, employees, and the community at every event, in adherence with the Prudential Center rules and regulations to ensure a safe and world class environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare assigned areas for opening and closing for each event; review check list specific to assigned area, proactively report and address areas of need prior to doors opening and follow up to ensure issues have been resolved
- Politely greet, acknowledge, and thank all guests at all times, in all areas of the arena during event
- Anticipate and respond accordingly to guests’ needs, concerns and questions
- Learn all event specific related activities and programs; arena layout, timing of event, parking, VIP receptions etc.
- Recognize all ticket types, check tickets, and provide guests with friendly and accurate directions
- Monitor assigned sections and surrounding areas to ensure arena compliance, and quality standards and safety
- Responsible for scanning tickets and ensuring all guests have a proper ticket/credential.
- Ability to operate elevator to transport passengers between floors
- Check assigned areas for items left behind by guests and turn into Lost & Found at the end of the shift
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including assigned uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional
- Perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another, without the loss of efficiency or composure
- Use excellent customer service skills and positive attitude when interacting with guests, vendors, & employees
- Complete all assigned tasks within the guidelines & deadlines set by Guest Services Managers and Supervisors
- Maintain company confidentiality
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Six (6) months prior customer service experience, arena or hotel experience preferred
AVAILABILITY. Must be available to work the following schedule:
Available to report to work Monday-Friday no later than 5pm and available all day Saturday and Sunday. Must be available to work holidays.
