This is a temporary position that will expire on December 1, 2015. However, depending on candidate’s performance, the position could result in long-term employment.
Our company is seeking a part-time legal assistant/clerk to our general counsel. The position involves legal research, case briefing, contract review and supervised drafting, corporate policy and employment matters, interstate regulatory compliance with company products, meetings with state agencies, and other tasks. Candidate will work closely alongside our company’s general counsel and will gain familiarity with both corporate upper-level management workings, as well as the legal issues that general counsel must address within a small and growing company. Our company holds a significant and substantial position within Utah’s real estate industry; therefore, candidates with strong real estate and employment law background and interests are preferred, though, not necessarily required. We will train the right candidate. This position offers no litigation oriented tasks at this time. Position is ideal for law students, pre-law majors and those with experience in the legal industry.
Pay is $12.00 – $14.00 depending
