About Vidant Medical Center

Vidant Medical Center is a fully accredited, 900+ bed regional referral facility encompassing a Level-1 Trauma Center and extensive inpatient and outpatient services including intensive and intermediate care, pediatrics, bariatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, surgery, pain management and psychiatry.


Responsibilities


  • Demonstrates acceptable level of Service Excellence behaviors.

  • Demonstrates acceptable level of work habits behavior, including safety.

  • Meets professional standards, including appearance and image.

  • Provides information and assistance to patients, visitors, and staff.

  • Greets and assists patients and guests with their parking tickets, payments, and validations.

  • Enters tickets correctly, quotes fee, Quotes payment received, counts back appropriate change

  • Rings tickets and tenders payment according to policy and procedure, including lost tickets, damaged tickets, passes, and logs exceptions. Accurately completes required reports.

  • Exercises full compliance of all hospital policies and procedures, including service standards, infection control, safety, privacy, confidentiality, HIPPA, and EMTALA.

  • Understands that schedules are changed as needed to meet patient and operational needs, and cross training for and usage in other parking positions is expected. Complete other duties as assigned by managers

Minimum Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent required.

  • Less than one year prior cashier experience required.

  • The ability to count money, computer literacy and excellent customer service skills required.

Other Information

  • 1 full time vacancy (32 hours) 3:00pm – 11:00pm; will include some weekends.
