The Coachella Valley Water District is looking for a Public Information Associate to assist in the District”s public outreach and internal communication efforts. Under general supervision, the Public Information Associate will write and produce District publications, including newsletters, brochures, fact sheets and flyers. Candidates must have excellent written and oral communication skills, excel in English grammar and spelling and understand standard public relations and public information concepts and practices. Five years of experience in public relations, communication, journalism or a related field is preferred. A bachelor”s degree in journalism, mass communication, public relations or related field from an accredited college or university preferred.
