Recruiting Assistants will conduct recruitment activities (distributing flyers and posters). Working within their communities they conduct information sessions, informing and communicating possible jobs to the public. This will include attending Job Fairs, local festivals and community events that may include events on weekends and evenings. They will administer the 30 minute pre-employment test to applicants, review and certify the applications for employment. Recruiting Assistants will locate free testing space in their assigned area, and schedule tests to best meet the needs of the community. This may include weekdays and weekends and evening test sessions.
Recruiting Assistants must live in zip codes- 77024, 77036, 77040,77042,77043, 77055, 77056, 77057, 77063, 77077, 77079, 77080, 77082, or 77092. Postings include positions for English speakers and bilingual Recruiting Assistants fluent in Urdu, Hindi, Spanish, Tagalog, Korean and Vietnamese.
