In this unique position you will function as a Sr Staff Test Engineer, developing leading edge test cases and test coverage for security systems for wireless connectivity products. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
• Working closely with FW engineers, systems, and ASIC design to participate in very extensive and detailed test coverage
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, collect traces, logs and write defect reports
• Work with FW and the underline ASIC to provide the best performances and lowest power in its class in the industry.
• Verify testing of multiple FW blocks before chip tapeout based on the defined usage scenarios and test specifications.
• Debug issues with the FW, HW and System group that are reported by internal SVT or external customers.
• Enjoy working with the brightest, creative, results-oriented, and fun-filled engineers.
Requirements:
• Typically requires a BSCS/BSEE degree and 9+ years of related experience, or an MSCS/MSEE degree and 6+ years of related experience, or a PhD and 3+ years of related experience.
• Embedded test development and test life cycle experience.
• Proficient in the use of Perl programming language.
• Experience with cryptographic algorithms and security systems desirable.
• Team player and excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
