The Documentation and Training Specialist position is responsible for creating and updating company user and administrator training collateral for Loan Origination Software and Web products. This position requires excellent technical writing and editing skills together with experience in creating training collateral in multiple mediums. The ideal candidate will be a concise communicator, tech savvy, have exceptional attention to detail and passionate about providing company tools knowledge throughout the customer base as well as internally for new hires and current staff.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

- Design, develop, update and manage Company user and system administration guides, videos and ancillary training documentation ensuring the content is up to date at all times
*
- Organize collateral training in a manner that ensures the recipient:
*
- Understands the training objectives
*
- Obtains a level of detail for the collateral that is consistent and relevant to the requirements of the topic
*
- Develop curriculum and materials to support new customer implementations
*
- Design and develop e-learning modules training programs, and materials from initiation through delivery; revise and update as needed. Manage LMS tool and curriculum
*
- Manage training collateral, documentation, and training schedule in Customer Portal and for internal users in SharePoint
Establish and maintain training collateral plan based on company objectives and manager feedback. Provide weekly reporting to show progress, project completions and required support to ensure objectives are met
Requirements
- :
*4 Year Bachelor degree
*Excellent technical writing, design lay out and editing skills. Exceptional attention to details
*Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new systems and transfer that knowledge into documentation
*Tech Savvy: Proficient with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), 2 + years content management systems experience, knowledge of software that supports online learning programs and general webinars
*
- Preferred mortgage lending experience with a strong understanding of the loan origination process from application through secondary marketing processes and post-closing, including experience with mortgage lending technology
*
- Strong organization and time management skills
*
- Strong work ethic, ability to multi-task and work independently
*
- Must be able to make decisions and resolve problems using experience and professional judgment, and make effective recommendations relative to Company functionality, training and ongoing customer satisfaction
