This job fully integrates an individual into the engineering culture by performing specific quality engineering assignments that are limited in scope, depth and degree of skill required.Duties:Learns and uses quality planning tools and analysis to formulate/facilitate quality plans for new products within the product delivery, order fulfilment or customer support processes. Learns and uses quality tools consistent with quality processes to enable the focus on prevention by identifying and performing activities to minimize risk.Investigates product and process quality related issues and recommends changes to control plans and/or prints. Gathers and analyses data pertinent to quality tools in the Enterprise Order Fulfillment Process (EOFP), Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP) and/or Customer Support Process (CSP).Performs quality audits, including supporting International Standards Organization (ISO) audits, and maintains quality manual. Inputs and maintains information in factory databases and systems.Monitors quality plan tracking system. Assists in reviews and investigations of warranty claim information.

Specific Position Requirements:

The manager is looking for an entry level Quality Engineer for the 4-wheel drive loaders/product.Supporting line activities and addressing issues, both assembly and supplier related. Route cause analysis, quality tools.Will eventually be driving the loaders after additional training is received, but this would not occur often (1-2 times per year).May go to customer visits or visiting suppliers.Prefer an Engineering degree and 1-2 years of experience in a design or a QE role. Six Sigma training preferred.Familiar with MS Office is required – will be responsible for data analysis and warranty analysis in Excel (looking at trends in data/claims).

Position requires:

Knowledge of Quality Tools, such as NCCA (8 discipline problem solving method), QID (Quality in Design), Project Doc (Program management tool), DPAR (Design, Process, and Assembly Review), FMEA (Failure Modes & Effects Analysis) and Root Cause Analysis.Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes; demonstrated experience with drawing and schematic interpretation, product models, geometric dimensioning and tolerance; ability to work independently, to stay on top of current business conditions, to prioritize projects, multi-task and meet deadlines
