Watford FC’s award winning Community Sports and Education Trust (registered charity no: 1102239) has been successful in securing the contract to run a male adult weight management programme in Hertfordshire. As a result we now have a fantastic opportunity for an exceptional candidate to plan, coordinate, deliver and manage this project.

Job Description & Candidate Requirements
Do you want to make a difference? Do you have experience of delivering high quality nutrition, physical activity or behaviour change programmes? If so then you may be the person we are looking for.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and committed individual with proven knowledge and experience. This position is full time, is for a fixed term of 18 months (further funding may be secured) and presents an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have:
A degree or relevant qualification (in a related subject area).A sound knowledge of healthy eating, physical activity and healthy lifestyles.Experience of delivering behaviour change interventions for adults.Experience of promoting health or physical activity programmes.An ability to engage, motivate, inspire and mentor people toward their goalsAn ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with a range of partners.Experience of managing or supervising staff/volunteers.Proficient IT skills.Proven experience of managing budgets.A full and valid UK Driving License as well as access to a vehicle.Location
The project officer will be based in Watford (Vicarage Road Stadium), but will coordinate, organise and run Weight Management courses throughout Hertfordshire.
