Senior Business Program Manager - NGVL Business Design

The Next Generation of Volume Licensing (NGVL) is a multi-year strategic change initiative led by World Wide Licensing & Pricing (WWLP), Commercial Operations, and MS IT to transform the Volume Licensing business to lead with services and devices.
WWLP is seeking an experienced Senior Business Program Manager capable of leading engagement across organizations to deliver new models and capabilities required to enable Volume Licensing’s transition to the cloud.
In this role you will be responsible for identifying and defining high-impact future scenarios and priorities that align with the company’s top priorities. You must then work across Product Licensing, Programs, Product Engineering, Marketing, Operations, and IT organizations to deliver to offers, scenarios, and capabilities in market. In this role you will perform stakeholder analysis to identify opportunities and inform priority setting and investment plans, engage with stakeholders in sales, segments, operations, product groups and others to understand pain points and business needs, and drive requirements to enable to-be processes and the ideal licensing experience.
You must be a strategic thinker with the ability to influence at senior levels and a bent toward execution and driving tangible outcomes. You must be an excellent communicator with exceptional attention to the details that ensure successful execution. Success will require effectively holding others accountable, driving controversial issues to closure resulting in alignment at senior levels, and building trusting and collaborative relationships that yield results.
Key Accountabilities
Organize and lead v-teams across WWLP, Operations, IT, Marketing, and Product Engineering teams to develop feasible plans and recommendations for execution and delivery
Establishing an engagement rhythm with key stakeholders to maintain alignment on priorities and expectations
Creating key planning and implementation deliverables (e.g. vision, scope, value proposition(s), pain points, scenarios, to-be process, requirements, etc.)
Ensuring changes are understood to facilitate impact assessment, risk management and readiness activities
Driving cross-organizational v-teams and decision-making processes on policies and scope trade-offs
Maintaining alignment between solution design and business vision
Managing projects to deliver on time, within scope, and on budget
Effectively communicate with and influence senior stakeholders to drive decision-making and secure sponsorship and delivery commitments
Participate in senior forums and governance meetings to ensure alignment and common understanding of in-flight work, priorities, plans, potential trade-offs, and risks
Provide subject matter expertise and lead, as appropriate, resolution to in-market issues and unplanned, high-priority projects required to ensure achievement of business goals
Relevant Skills & Qualifications
7-10+ years of experience, consulting experience a plus; demonstrated track record of driving measurable results
Knowledge of Microsoft Volume Licensing, channels, cloud strategies, and commercial purchasing models
Ability to think strategically with an extended time horizon
Cross-group collaboration with emphasis on ability to influence disparate points of view to drive consensus
Passion for delivering business results through technology
Exceptional project management skills and discipline
Exceptional analytical and communication skills
BA/BS required; MBA preferred
