Global Delivery Operations PM
The Staffing Talent Acquisition Operations Team offers a unique opportunity to apply your Staffing/HR background, program management skills, and project management experience to a job that offers variety, flexibility, global scope, and interesting challenges. We believe great programs result from dedication to meeting customer needs and focus on continuous improvement, and we’re looking for a non-technical Operations Program Manager who will partner with the Staffing function to drive critical programs and processes in support of world-wide Talent Acquisition efforts.
This position is accountable to oversee the end to end global delivery of our backoffice recruiting and operational support channels. The Global Delivery Operations PM role requires a unique combination of big picture strategic thinking and attention to detail, collaboration across a broad range of teams & geographies and ability to work through ambiguity. Passion for helping our Talent Acquisition teams and candidates around the world is essential to the success of this role.
There is also a large Microsoft Staffing initiative to help standardize and drive efficiencies in our core processes on an international scale. We have a Business Process Outsourcing agreement in place with Accenture and are now in implementation mode. This role will be accountable to evangelize the shared services concept, drive the value of the business case and lead the further implementation of the structure within the Staffing organization. This role will be responsible for delivering high-quality operational process design and readiness of core Talent Acquisition Operations and driving an agenda of continuous improvement with the business leaders to enable strategy execution in their area.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a proven track record in large scale Staffing/HR program management & process improvement, operations management, managing complex budgets and change management. In addition, the ideal candidate has an ability to influence without direct authority across organizational and geographic boundaries.
The position is based in Redmond, WA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the implementation of the shared services concept for International Hubs in partnership local Talent Acquisition teams.
- Act as a point contact for Regional Ops PMs and TA Leaders for shared service program, process and technology challenges and work with relevant parties to reach resolution.
- Partner with finance and procurement to ensure effective budget management and forecasting, including forecasting resource needs based on workforce plans & transactional data.
- Act as the primary liaison between outsourced vendor and the Talent Acquisition Operations staff. Ensure that the vendor team is staffed to meet the changes in the business and shift resources if business priorities change.
- Manage the governance ROB with the outsourced vendor, the Regional Ops PMs, and Leadership to ensure metrics and KPIs are reviewed on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis.
- Ensure that processes, procedures and best practices are defined, developed, deployed, communicated and followed.
- Manage the implementation of operational efficiencies resulting in cost or times savings, enhanced customer service, or improved communication.
- Be a strategic partner to operationalize programs by providing business intelligence and offering expertise/advise/consultation.
- Provide creative logistical solutions and options to solve business problems in ambiguous situations.
- Initiate, assess and manage key projects, including building a project plan, communicating status, mitigating risk and measuring progress.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 7+ years’ experience in HR/Staffing and international business experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in business management or vendor management.
- Demonstrated ability to understand OPEX, HC and Financial Budgeting principles.
- Excellent organization and project management skills- this will require aggressive planning, organizing and coordinating, negotiating, establishing effective cross-team relationships, prioritization, and delivery against objectives.

- Demonstrated excellence in strategic thought leadership, stakeholder management, customer service, change management and building productive partnerships at all levels within a matrix organization.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and make tough choices amongst competing priorities and with influencing partners to determine priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to use data in decision making and recommendations.
- Candidate must be able to work under pressure and within short time constraints.
- Some prior experience utilizing business process optimization methodologies (Six Sigma/Lean/Green Belt Certification) a plus.
- Solid knowledge and proficiency in Visio, Access and Excel; MS Project proficiency a plus.
- International working experience (statutory, regulatory and cultural) is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Human Resources, MBA is a plus
- Ability to travel internationally on a quarterly basis
