A newly created financial controller role with an excellent international business. The financial controller will report into the finance director and have a small finance team reporting into them. The business are seeking someone that is qualified and able to demonstrate understanding of man management and internal controls work whilst also demonstrating a commercial edger which will be required when dealing with senior managers within the business.
Duties and responsibilities include
·Management of Finance Team.
·Management of the Middle East accounting process.
·Provide detailed reports analysing company results covering sales, overall profitability, debtors and cash.
·Preparation of the Monthly Commission Reports in a timely manner for the HR Associate for Payroll processing
·Completion of monthly management accounts for both business units
·Provide detailed company forecasts and revenue budgets breaking down the sales pipeline and highlighting potential risks and opportunities.
·Assist the sales team with analysing the profitability of potential opportunities
·Price Book Maintenance. Work with the Project Managers and the Warehouse and Purchasing Associate on 3rd party pricing preparing regular reports for trend analysis regarding product pricing.
·Develop and maintain Salesforce reports to provide management team with the required information for forecasting
·Audit of internal processes ensuring that process documentation is up to date and the necessary internal controls are in place.
·Systems development and administration.
·To prepare the bi-monthly supplier BACS payment run.
·Supporting the Finance Director with quarterly and annual audit and SOX compliance requests.
·Work closely with VP Corporate Controller and CFO (in US HQ) on Company accounting and Finance issues as needed.
·Work with others in the Region and US as needed on tasks and projects including but not limited to annual budget, monthly and quarterly forecast, sales and accounting data analysis, etc.
·Manage Region’s internal controls in line with requirements under Sarbanes-Oxley, the UK Companies Act and other relevant international Corporate Governance legislation. As well as annual testing of controls
