SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTION
The general purpose of this position is to Provide family, individual and group therapy to children and their families.
JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES

Provides outpatient individual, group, and family therapy for Touchstone consumers utilizing Best Practice.
Facilitates and participates in Child and Family Teams (CFT) according to the AZ Practice Model.
Conducts Intakes as needed and assigned.
Completes discharges in a timely and efficient manner.
Completes all required clinical documentation & reports and develops & updates consumer documentation.
Responds to Crisis in a timely manner according to determined procedure.
Acts as liaison between Touchstone and collaborative agencies.
Maintains case load of at least 50 clients.
Bills average of at least 100 units (25 hours) and for at least 15 therapy sessions per week or the equivalent combination of sessions and groups.
Bills minimum of 100 out-of-office units per month.
Bills a minimum of 100 family therapy units per month.
Bills 50% of all encounters as therapy or CFT’s.
*Performs all other duties as assigned
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/TRAINING/CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/EXPERIENCE:
Must be at least 21 years of age. Requires a Master’s Degree in a behavioral health related field.
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT/SKILLS:
Intermediate computer skills. Working knowledge of MS Office products or similar software, internet, and email.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
POPULATION SERVED:
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the consumers served in the department.

JOB SPECIFIC EXPECTATIONS
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: EDUCATION/TRAINING/CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE
Must be actively seeking licensure.
Must complete all Agency prerequesites for conducting assessments within 6 months of hire.
Must maintain current CPR/First Aid and CPI Certification.
Must maintain current Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Must maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license and current personal auto liability insurance.
WORK ENVIRONMENT, SPECIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS, AND HAZARDS:
Must be available to provide services 8-5, Monday through Friday.

Communicates with the consumers and families, medical staff, therapists, and other departmental management, community organizations, government agencies/personnel, etc., under all conditions and circumstances.

Actively participates in the Quality Assurance Plan of TBH by identifying, notifying and participating in determining and implementing resolutions. Assures that problems are addressed by the appropriate personnel AND that standards are met and that quality is obtained and maintained.
WORK ENVIRONMENT, SPECIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS, AND HAZARDS:
Works in office and consumers’ homes as well as throughout Touchstone, its premises and in the community.
Moves intermittently during working hours.
Is subject to frequent interruptions.
Attends and participates in continuing educational programs
Hazards include risk of exposure to communicable disease.
