Our client is looking for a candidate to join their department as a Procurement Administrator to start immediately on an ongoing basis.
This position will be an integral part of the team assisting with the daily functions of the department.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Review requisitions and generate purchase orders.
- Responsible for the maintenance of Procurement records and databases (e.g. supplier set-up, contract information, supplier performance).
- Liaise with the A/P department in regards to invoices, supplier holds and cost discrepancies.
- Maintain clear documentation and audit trail of procurement activities.
Required Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Strong planning, organisation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent Microsoft package knowledge
Ability to multi-task, work and complete tasks effectively under minimal supervision, tight time constraints, and periodic high volume circumstances.
