The Administrative Aide will provide administrative support for the daily activities of the Bone Unit Faculty Practice in the Division of Endocrinology. Responsibilities include answering phones, greeting patients, collecting time-of-service payments, scheduling patient visits and updating patient demographics via IDX, as well as insurance verification via MPV and communication of patient financial responsibility in a clear and concise manner. The Administrative Aide will scan, organize and maintain patient files using the CROWN EMR. The Administrative Aide will also be required to provide cross coverage with other administrative aides in the Unit and to assist the Divisional Administrator and Practice Manager with practice reporting and investigation of third party carrier denials and underpayments. Performs additional related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications for Grade Requires bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and business experience, plus a minimum of two to three years related experience. The candidate selected for this position is required to undergo a drug screening test prior to a final offer of employment being made.
