Crown Agents USA, Inc. (CA-USA) is seeking an**Operations Manager**for the USAID funded Climate Economic Analysis for Development, Investment, and Resilience (CEADIR) project located in our Washington, DC office.

Role & Responsibilities


The Operations Manager provides support to stakeholders and staff for the Climate Economic Analysis for Development, Investment, and Resilience (CEADIR) project located out of the Washington, DC office of Crown Agents. The Operations Manager will monitor and measure the success of community engagement using web analytics tools and provides regular reports to USAID project manager and other stakeholders. The Operations Manager will also manage and coordinate blended learning or knowledge-sharing events, such as Webinars and other social media engagements. The Operations Manager will have an extensive background in climate change and clean energy policy.


Specific Responsibilities


· Assist with facilitation of online community learning events.


· Work with USAID staff to develop and implement community promotion and engagement strategies and tactics as they relate to the strategic goals of CEADIR.


· Manage social media and email outreach efforts to promote CEADIR’s site and content to targeted USAID staff and implementing partners.


· Curate and upload new content for CEADIR including events, reports/resources, and other web content related to climate and development, in consultation with USAID staff and other partners to obtain all information needed for proposals and reporting/compliance documentation.


· Participate in strategic planning activities and budgeting processes as requested.


· Oversee the ongoing study of outcomes for those served by the CEADIR project, including data collection and annual analysis/reporting.


· As time permits, collaborate with the Project Director on drafting proposals for corporate sponsorship.


· Assist with grant funding process, for both foundation and governmental funding sources, including, maintenance of a grants calendar; proposal writing; grant submissions; and reporting/compliance activities.


· Collaborate with the Project Director on plans for fundraising events.


· Contribute content about funders to Crown Agent’s CEADIR website, newsletters and other communications materials.


· Collaborate on other marketing and development activities, as requested/as time permits.


Qualifications


  • Master"s Degree in International Development, Environmental Science, Public Policy, or a related field required.

· Minimum of seven years or more of experience with international development, environmental issues, knowledge management, training or organizational development.


· Knowledge and experience with USAID funded projects including grants and effective grant management processes.


· Technical knowledge of climate change issues acquired through a successful work history and prior involvement with similar climate change projects desired.


· Experience managing social media platforms preferred.


· Familiarity with current events and policies relating to environmental issues and climate change.


· Above average event facilitation, organization, and communication skills.


· Ability to work and live in the United States required.
