Duties and Responsibilities
Uses business software applications (e.g. Word,
PowerPoint, Excel) to prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, agendas,
minutes, etc.
Receives, screens and directs incoming calls,
visitors, mail and e-mail.
Maintains files and calendars.
May arrange business travel, coordinate meeting
arrangements, and/or track expenses.
Working Conditions
Performs work in normal office environment; may be required
to provide assistance in multiple areas as needed. Position may be located at a
generating plant, regional office, etc.
Prolong sitting at desk/computer.
May be required to travel for training and/or assistance at other sites
and may be required to work overtime.
Depending upon the desired qualifications of the successful candidate, the hiring manager may elect to fill this position at a higher level within the job hierarchy.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent (e.g. GED)
A minimum of two years of administrative support experience
Desired Qualifications
Strong computer skills
Additional but not essential education or experience
Associates degree
Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office suite applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Effective oral and written communications skills.
Ability to effectively interface with multiple levels across a department, e.g. managers, supervisors, employees.
