Chemonics seeks a manager to support the global health team in our Strategic Solutions and Communications Division. The division supports Chemonics’ staff to develop, access, and apply current technical knowledge and best practices in international development to proposals and ongoing projects. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.

Responsibilities include:


  • Lead, participate in, and/or support proposal development efforts for global health programs

  • Develop and maintain relationships with consultants and potential business partners

  • Monitor and disseminate information on industry events and developments in global health

  • Represent Chemonics at global health conferences and industry events

  • Assist with development of technical materials, such as briefs, blogs, and communications materials such as brochures and website content

  • Lead and support contract management, including drafting and managing subcontract agreements and working with the health team to maintain consortium partner relationships

  • Contribute to organizing and developing internal global health events and opportunities for Chemonics staff to expand their knowledge and understanding in global health

  • Help organize and update technical material and disseminate them throughout the health practice, and identify linkages with other practices within ChemonicsQualifications:

  • ​Bachelor"s degree in public health or a related field required; master"s degree or equivalent experience preferred

  • Minimum three years of technically relevant work experience required

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing

  • Experience writing proposals and technical materials, such as briefs and case studies, required

  • Minimum two years of technically relevant work in HIV/AIDS, malaria, maternal and child health, water sanitation and hygiene, monitoring and evaluation, family planning/reproductive health, or nutrition

  • Knowledge of current industry trends and resources, as well as donor/client strategies and priorities relevant to global health

  • Experience working in developing countries preferred

  • Solid administrative and organizational skills; strong attention to detail

  • Experience in word processing, spreadsheets, and Web-based knowledge management tools

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity

  • French proficiency preferred
