Cast Wellness – Sports Internship
The Cast Wellness team provides global programs, activities, sports events and wellness services for our diverse Cast, Crew and Imaginers. This is accomplished by preserving our rich Disney heritage while we strive to enhance our guest’s experience. Responsibilities for the sports intern would include, but are not limited to, assisting with the planning and implementation of a variety of sports events including Softball, Basketball, Volleyball and more. This position would also assist other events from Be Well – Get Active events to company-wide wellness initiatives. Interns will be expected to interact with guests through a moderate volume of calls or emails and providing exceptional guest service during events. Phone calls and emails will consist of answering questions or booking guest reservations. Support team in the day-to-day tasks important to the success of the sports programs and events.
Cast Activities, Events & Recognition – Special Events
Responsibilities for this intern would include, but are not limited to, assisting with the planning of a variety of global events from Service Celebrations to Biometric Screenings to company-wide distributions. Events could include Canoe Races, Holiday Celebration, Spring Fling, Goofy’s Mystery Tour, and more. Intern will also assist with Cast Volunteers, Retirement Services and Childcare Scholarships. Interns will be expected to interact with guests through a high volume of calls or emails and providing exceptional guest service during events. Phone calls and emails will consist of answering questions or booking guest reservations. Support team in the day-to-day tasks important to the success of the events. Responsibilities could include, but are not limited to planning, marketing, volunteer scheduling, event set-up and breakdown, event monitoring, event participation, and much more.
College and International Housing – Events Operations Internship
This intern will be responsible for, but not limited to; planning, marketing, executing, budgeting and setting-up/tearing-down all Housing events and participating in trips for the College, International, and Professional Intern Program Participants. Also, responsible for the Housing Arrival process and creating a great sense of Arrivals for all Domestic and International Participants on Day One of the Program. Responsible for inventory and upkeep of props, decorations, dry stock, garages, etc. Needs to have a valid U.S. drivers license and feel comfortable with driving a 15 passenger van and box truck. Overall this internship is to help enhance the living experience for Program Participants and create a sense of home at our complexes.
Park Event Operations Assistant Internship (Conventions)
The Disney Professional Intern is responsible for support to the Park Event Operations Team, including Salaried and Office and Technical Cast Members. The intern will complete day-to-day tasks that are critical to ensuring the assets and resources we use to produce events are in proper working order and stored in a safe and organized fashion. The intern will assist the team with basic event-related tasks and assume some coordination roles.

- Be a former or current Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship participant
- Be at least 18 years old
- Current College Junior or Senior
- Must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within the past six (6) months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
- Have your own vehicle throughout the duration of the program
- Meet all requirements for individual roles of interest, as these requirements could vary according to specific lines of business
- Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program. Note: Once you have completed one consecutive year of employment on a Disney internship or program, there must be a minimum 6 month gap before the start of a new internship or program
- Must possess unrestricted work authorization
- Must provide full work availability
- Must provide own transportation to/from work
- Current Active Disney cast members must meet Professional Internship transfer guidelines (for Walt Disney World cast members this is no more than four points and one reprimand in the last six months; for Disneyland cast members this is six months of consecutive service and a performance record clear of any disciplinary issues (warnings, suspensions, etc.) for at least six months)
