Broadcom’s radio team is responsible for the design of all WLAN/Bluetooth/FM/NFC/Millimeter-wave radio transceivers. Target products include WiFi, 802.11ad and next generation 60GHz / millimeter-wave chipsets.
We are actively seeking talented millimeter-wave design engineers (with RFIC/analog design skills) who want to join a dynamic and experienced team and take their technical knowledge to the next level in our mission of excellence. You will be responsible for the design of radios in various state-of-the-art technologies including deep submicron CMOS. Examples of radio transceiver blocks would be low noise amplifiers, power amplifiers, VGAs, mixers, RF PLLs & synthesizers and filters. You may help with transistor modeling for RF design, RF board and module design, and lab characterizations.
- Typically requires a BS degree and 9+ years of experience or an MS degree and 6+ years of experience or a PhD and 3+ years of experience. Outstanding fresh PhD graduates would be considered as well
- Expertise in RF/Millimeter-wave CMOS design is highly desirable
- Experience in Cadence design, simulation and layout environment
- Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of design experience in the following areas:
- Millimeter-wave front-end circuits (LNA/mixers/PA/PA drivers) and phased array systems
- PLLs and frequency synthesizers
- Must be a self-starter, has passion for his/her work, and be able to work well in a team of RFIC design engineers.
- System-level specification, floorplanning, characterization, and productization experience is a plus.
