Responsibilities
Analysis of new InP chip concepts through theoretical and/or computational models.
Fabrication and detailed characterization of InP prototype chip.
Evaluation and improvement of current InP chip design and process.
Data analysis, including statistical tracking of processes.
Work with cross-functional project or problem-solving teams, including optical, electronics, process engineering, and operations staff.
Participation in project planning, data reviews, and design reviews.
Experience
At least 10 years experience in optical InP chip design.
Rich knowledge of product development, including design choices for manufacturability, reliability, and serviceability
Excellent hands-on lab skills in InP chip building, characterization, problem-solving, etc. and willing to work in the lab
Familiar with design tools and instruments.
Familiar with associated chip processing.
Qualifications
- Excellent English skills both in verbal and written are required.
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
- Strong capability of driving and analytical skill.
- Strong organization skills desirable, team player, responsible and self-motivated.
- Willingness to travel overseas.
- Ph.D. with specialization in physics or optics,
