Star Point Enterprises, Inc. is a Utah based consulting firm supporting the extraction industries in the intermountain region and provides the bulk of the area contract permitting, surface use and compliance services. As we continue to expand we are seeking a contract part-time dynamic individual with both office and field work experience. We offer the advantages of working from a home office, good compensation, some travel and flexible schedule.
The position available will be responsible for generating and filing oil and gas permit applications for state, federal, tribal and local government agencies. Field coordination and conducting site reviews for clients with all agencies and land owners involved. Public meeting representation with local, state and federal officials.
Essential skills must include:
- Proficiency in computer software programs: Microsoft Office programs, Adobe, email, internet;
- Written and verbal communication skills;
- Physical fitness level to include rapid two mile sustained hike in all types of weather/temperatures and ability to lift sixty pounds; and
- Must be bondable.
Experience/Education
- Two years college education required; and
- GIS skills preferred but not required;
Candidate selected must have a clean driving record, dependable four wheel drive vehicle and pass a pre-employment drug screen. This is a contract part-time position but could develop into a full-time position depending upon oil and gas market conditions.
