Providing radio frequency, baseband, system and complete software support to OEMs and system integrators, Broadcom’s Bluetooth chips enable the wireless sharing of data among scores of electronic devices, from mobile phones and wireless stereo headsets to tablets and televisions. We are currently recruiting talented engineers to develop firmware and support the Bluetooth wireless applications. In this unique position you will function as a firmware engineer involved with the technologies of Bluetooth RF Silicon Solutions and Bluetooth Firmware Solutions. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
– Keep multiple Bluetooth HID/PC/Tablet/Sensor programs on track by providing firmware design, development, and debug support.
– Design and implement FW to meet specific customer needs.
– Integrate Bluetooth wireless solutions into customer systems.
– Accurately diagnose issues that arise within customer system architectures.
– Interact with hardware, application, test and verification departments.
-Typically requires a PHD with 3 years embedded firmware development experience, a MSCS/MSEE with at least 6 years embedded firmware development experience, or a BSCS/BSEE combined with at least 9 years embedded firmware development experience.
– Proficient in the use of the C or C++ programming language.
– Experience with RTOS highly desirable.
– Bluetooth, BLE, HID, Zigbee or other wireless technology experience is highly desirable.
– Experience with USB, low-power-consumption and digital-logic/signal-analysis highly desirable.
