Join Broadcom’s Broadband Communications Group (BCG), a world-class team responsible for designing some of the coolest products in millions of homes and businesses around the world. BCG prides itself on being the dominant player, both in emerging and developed markets.  You will join a talented team in the development and verification of ASICs for the video consumer electronics market. In this role you will contribute to the verification of various RTL designs. You will help generate test environments and employ simulation, emulation, and scripting to validate the designs.


To succeed in this role, you must be a hands-on, self-motivated person with a keen eye for potential issues and excellent engineering problem solving skills.






 






Job Requirements / Job Skills:






Required:



• C/C++ programming skills and experience in both Linux and Windows environments



• Good communication skills



• The minimum job requirement for this position is completion of junior year of an engineering degree program



• Candidate must be a self-starter and able to work independently


Recommended:



• Use of Verilog for hardware or test-bench designs



• Perl programming skills



• ASIC/FPGA verification experience including experience with various RTL simulators, waveform viewers, and code coverage tools



• Programming experience with embedded processors



• Experience with FPGA tool flows



• Experience with source control tools
