We’re looking for a strong engineer that wants to put their skills to use to help shape new Azure products. Work with engineering teams on new services, offerings and features and be the voice of the customer and support to make sure that the right supportability features are built into the product. Key Responsibilities:    

• Work across teams: partner with the engineering teams, support and developer teams to make sure we have the right tools and telemetry for new releases or features.

• Communicate clearly about projects and proactively communicate risks

• Analyze and translate requirements into clear direction for engineering teams

• Lead customer focused design initiatives for the engineering team to enable better support of customers and develop ad hoc solutions where needed to keep the business running.

The Ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:  

• Minimum of 7-10 years experience with a combination of the following:    

• BA/BS in Business or Computer Science  

• Experience with writing code, automation

• Experience converging data from multiple data sources - data warehouses, streams, MDS, azure tables/blob store and other ad-hoc sources.

• Experience supporting an Azure service

• Experience deploying, configuring and operating enterprise cloud applications

• Developer experience on an Azure service

Ability to meet customer security screening requirements is required for this role. Customer requirements may include additional personnel screening such as, but not limited to: specialized agency background checks (either national or local which may include fingerprinting).   All employees hired into roles supporting Cloud Offerings will also be required to pass Microsoft background checks every two years.
