Who are we Looking for? ? HTML, ASP Classic, PHP, Javascript , skills and development required ? Experience with and AJAX or jQuery is a bonus ? Detail-oriented and very meticulous(a must) ? You follow Best Practices – practicing secure coding and understanding the difference between Development, Staging, and Production environments ? Skills, Personality and Experience: Competency in HTML, Classic ASP, PHP, and Javascript (DOM) required Experience integrating with APIs and working with eCommerce platforms required Nuanced understanding of the following:
? DRY vs. WET, POST vs. GET, REST and SOAP, XML and JSON ? Familiarity with encryption standards for data storage and transmission required ? Experience with industry standard documentation and QA practices required ? Familiarity with scrubbing inputs for injection attacks desired ? Familiarity with preventing CSRF and XSS desired ? Ability to split up a large complex project into smaller more simplistic tasks ? A practical and down to earth approach to creating weekly deliverables ? Interested in learning new things, capable of figuring out the pieces with minimal direction (we will provide some training, but there are always new requirements) ? Ability to quickly learn, debug, alter or write code in a new language ? Basic NT (IIS 6-7.x) administration skills (configuration, restart, backup) are required ? UNIX/Linux development operations experience is desired but not required ? Ability to quickly learn, debug, alter or write code in a new language ?A minimum of 1 year of experience in a web application development role ?
