Ensure consistent data management and reporting for SIAPS, and strengthening the systems for other (non-SIAPS) PHT projects as well.
Direct M&E TA to field projects (30%)
- Conducted through remote assistance and targeted travel to projects.
- Independently support teams in the implementation of PMPs, M&E plans and other required components of an operational M&E system.
Manage program data information systems (20%)
- Maintain the SIAPS Newdea database structural integrity.
- Provide high-level support to all contributing programs (currently ~25).
- Provide feedback to Country Leadership Team members on staff compliance and work quality.
- Prepare quarterly data and analysis for dissemination over the online SIAPS Results Portal.
Analyze data and create innovative products for communicating program results (20%)
- Conduct program data analysis including trends, relationships and intervention effectiveness to present to Senior MSH and USAID staff.
- Establishing modalities for and dissemination of data including infographics or other graphic designs.
Review quarterly PMP dashboards report (5%)
- Sr. M&E Advisor will review PMP Dashboards before submission to Senior SIAPS and USAID staff in Washington.
Contribute to the establishment of US Government public health mechanisms (10%)
- Participate in PMI (President’s Malaria Initiative) representing MSH; includes oversight of key PMI reporting tools and acting as liaison (and representative) between PMI and MSH.
Assess data quality on selected portfolios (10%)
- Oversee data quality assessments (DQAs) for PHT to ensure accurate and consistent data collection by country programs and portfolios.
Evaluation and research (5%)
- Contribute to the design and implementation of assessments, evaluations, strategic studies, operations research and data collection tools.
Capacity development of stakeholders (5%)
- Support Newdea (software) training for internal staff and external stakeholders, where appropriate.
- Support M&E trainings for various internal and external stakeholders.
Contribute to existing knowledge-base (5%)
- Attend international meetings and conferences to present papers representing MSH.
- Postgraduate degree closely related to assigned area of responsibility.
- 7+ years of related experience is required.
- Experience in international public health highly preferred.

- Results analysis, strong management and communication skills.
- Experience working with remote teams.
Physical Demands
- Travel requirements: up to 20% of time, both domestically and internationally.
