Current Need McKesson is hiring for a Account Executive Primary Care to support the Tri City Region comprising of Kingsport, Johnson City, and Bristol, TN. Candidates must live within this territory.


Position Description

Responsible for the sale of certain products or services. Duties involve direct one-to-one communication with customer or client. Performs field promotion work and develops new accounts. Demonstrates products and/ or services and provides assistance in the best application of product or services. Answers all questions concerning products or services and refers questions as necessary. May coordinate company product support (including technical engineering support) and services to ascertain customer’s needs. May close transactions and take orders. May estimate time and sales expenses expected and submit to management. May analyze records of present and past sales, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred. Interprets accounts, trends, and records to management. Sells to new and present clients. Contacts prospects and explains features and merits of products or services offered, utilizing persuasive sales techniques. Qualifications


Minimum Requirements

2+ years sales experience


Critical Skills


Demonstrated

cold calling and prospecting skills (C-Suite)

Demonstrated

ability to maintain existing customer base

Demonstrated

experience consistently hitting and or over achieving sales objectives

Distribution

sales or clinical sales or medical back office experience

Must

have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Proficiency

with Word, Excel, PowerPoint


Additional Knowledge & Skills


Medical

experience in industry as practitioner or medical sales experience

Experience

managing margins/gross profit dollars

Experience

selling wide portfolio and/or value proposition

Proficiency

with using a CRM tool (e.g. Salesforce, ACT)

IDN

experience and knowledge


Education

4-year degree in business or related field or equivalent experience


Physical Requirements Must have the ability to travel 50% within assigned territory Must have valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
