SUMMARY


Responsible for scheduling all outpatient visits within Grady Health System. Process incoming calls, faxes and computer orders ensuring that all appointments are accurately scheduled in an efficient, customer-oriented manner. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.


QUALIFICATIONS


High School diploma or GED required

Prior experience in appointment scheduling, patient access, billing, customer service or health care required

Typing minimum 30 wpm, data entry, and customer service skills required

Clear and pleasant speaking voice required

Knowledge of medical terminology highly preferred

Bilingual preferred

Inbound high volume call center experience preferred

Knowledge of Siemens OAS Gold/Siemens Invision health information system, word processing and spreadsheet programs preferred
