Part-time Recreation Positions job - City of Westminster, CO - Colorado

The City of Westminster hires a variety of part-time recreation positions to work in recreation programs and facilities. Positions vary in responsibility and range from entry-level positions requiring no previous experience to specialized positions requiring specific knowledge and skills. These positions are part-time and are not eligible for City benefits. Positions that are responsible for the care or safekeeping of minors are designated as safety sensitive positions.

The full salary range for this position is stated above. The starting range of pay is dependent on qualifications and experience of each individual candidate .

JOB SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:


Applicants need to be at least 16 years old to be eligible for part time positions with the City of Westminster. Qualified applicants will be contacted as positions become available. Employees will maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Youth & Teen Programs: These positions work directly with children and teens in either our drop-in childcare center, licensed preschool, after school programs, or day camp programs. These positions generally require previous experience working with children. The City of Westminster hires a large number of Youth and Teen program staff in the spring for positions in our Summer Camp program. Candidates need to apply specifically to Summer Camp positions in order to be considered for those positions. Other Youth and Teen positions include:

Golf: These positions have various responsibilities at one of the City’s two golf courses, Legacy Ridge or The Heritage. The Assistant Golf Professional position requires significant knowledge of the game of golf. The City of Westminster hires most Golf staff in the spring.
