Department Animal Poison Control Ctr
Location Urbana, IL
Job Summary: Provide support for all areas of the Client Services team, including AHS, APSS, VLPP, Nutrition, HomeAgain and APCC.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist in the daily operations of all areas of Client Services including ASPCA and corporate sponsored programs
Provide call center coverage for incoming calls and outbound follow up calls
Assist in the processing of monthly, quarterly, and regulatory reports for corporate clients
Provide quality assurance on corporate client case records
Represent the ASPCA at trade-shows and corporate client events
Maintain case records appropriately in the appropriate system
Interact effectively with corporate clients, veterinary practices, and pet parents over the telephone and through electronic correspondence
Answer client inquiries in all areas of Client Services
Process requests for information and maintain informational mailing inventory
Assist with maintenance of confidential client files
May be required to specialize in areas of AHS, APSS, VLPP, Nutrition, HomeAgain or APCC
Other duties as assigned
Education:
Associate’s degree required, bachelor’s degree preferred
Animal science or veterinary technology studies preferred
Experience:
Veterinary practice or medical experience desired
Customer service or client relations experience required
Knowledge Requirements:
Computer literacy and strong typing skills required
Strong telecommunication skills required
Understanding of medical terms and basic animal anatomy helpful
Skills Requirements:
Fluency in English and Spanish preferred
Must be detailed oriented, organized and responsible
Must be flexible and tactful in all communications
Strong interpersonal skills needed
Must work well with or without direct supervision
Training Requirements:
Participate in training for all CS services
Additional Information:
Must be self-confident, motivated and posses the ability to interact effectively with the public, corporate clients and other ASPCA employees
