We are looking for a director to lead testing, characterizing and trouble-shooting of WiFi combo chip software solutions. You will work with a large, multi-cultural, global team to develop automated test systems and software, qualify various testing methodologies, and work closely with the development team on understanding and improving product quality. You will work directly with our most demanding customers and produce high quality test reports to enable developers and customers understand quality levels and make decisions on defect resolution.
REQUIREMENTS:
– Total engineering minimum experience required is typically a BS degree and 15 years of experience, an MS degree and 12 years of experience or a PhD and 9 years of experience or equivalent.
– Experience working in a fast paced environment.
– Willing to learn and run tests when situation demands.
– Proven track record delivering results under pressure.
– Customer and vendor facing experience is important
– Experience in automating electronic test equipment
– Product development background is a plus.
– Experience managing other managers is a strong plus.
– Experience managing projects with both HW and SW components are desired.
– Experience in some of the following is highly desired: RF, Wireless communication, Instrumentation, PCIe. Programming, programming and test automation, device drivers, windows and Linux OS.
– Excellent communication skills.
