Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute System Level Test Plan.
• Develop and debug system level templates to verify key interfaces and end to end functionality.
• Build and maintain System and Full-Chip level test-benches.
• Responsible for functional correctness of design keeping in mind the performance goals.
• Collaborate with logic designers on RTL debug, bug fixes, and integration.
• Develop post-silicon validation plans and assist in debugging silicon issues.
• Job Requirements
• Total engineering minimum experience required is typically a BS degree and 12 years of experience, an MS degree and 9 years of experience or a PhD and 6 years of experience or equivalent.
• BS (EE/Electrical Engineering or CS/Computer Science) required, MS (EE or CS) preferred.
• Prior experience leading/managing small teams. Experience in test bench design and development using UVM, OVM or VMM.
• Experience in Verification of Processor based SoC designs at full-chip level using assembly or C based tests.
• Prior experience with relevant areas such as North Bridge/Cache Coherency Protocols.
• Good CPU architecture/micro-architecture knowledge a plus(one of MIPS/PowerPC/ARM/x86/SPARC architectures, CPU pipeline, out-of-order, superscalar, caches)
• Prior experience with UNIX/Linux development environment: shell/Perl scripting
• Self-motivated team player able to thrive in a fast-paced engineering environment.
• Excellent organizational skills, self-driven, and eager to learn.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
