**Description**


The **Records & Information Coordinator** will assist the Records & Information Management Supervisor in the planning, development and implementation of Marketing’s overall Information Management Program; serve as a Group Record Lead Assistant and content manager for business units.


**Responsibilities may include** :


  • Communicating policies, procedures, standards, best practices, and practical approaches to information management

  • Training new hires, including ensuring that they become knowledgeable about policies and procedures, and for guiding their professional development

  • Keeping staff motivated and informed through periodic group and individual meetings

  • Conducting audits to evaluate compliance with records management policies and procedures

  • Developing and implementing file plans and centralized records filing systems

  • Serving as the liaison with records manager officers in the company’s departments

  • Administering and coordinating the destruction review process, including securing departmental approval before records destruction

  • Making recommendations for improvement of processes and for new processes

  • Carrying out research and analysis of complex records management problems and issues and make effective verbal and written recommendations

  • Carrying out projects related to information management

  • Serving as functional expert and provide guidance to all business units assigned as it pertains to the information governance program

  • Performing other duties as required

**Qualifications**


**Basic/Required** :


  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country

  • Bachelors degree

  • Experience with records management systems, electronic record handling, imaging and emerging technologies. (Open Text, SharePoint, etc.)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Willing and able, with or without reasonable accommodations, to move/lift 40 pounds

**Preferred** :

  • Certification in Records/Information Management. (CRM, CIP, IGP etc.)

  • 3 or more years’ experience in records and information management, with 2 or more years’ experience using electronic records management software at a senior administrator level

  • Project Management experience

  • Leader in change management and experience providing training to external business partners and internal groups for new process implementation

  • Demonstrated ability in developing innovative and creative solutions to emerging issues and opportunities

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships

  • Detail oriented and organized

  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

  • Ability to make decisions in accordance with established policies and procedures

  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, business partners, and clients through various means
