Responsibilities:
We are looking for an expert in DSP design and algorithm development. The successful candidate should have an ability to interface with Analog team to make architecture and design decisions. Understand complex engineering specification and create implementation level micro-architecture document, subsequently implement a timing, area & power efficient Verilog RTL design, Understanding of synthesis, static timing analysis, formal verification, clock domain crossing, and low power techniques. Knowledge and experience of Analog components for DSP based design and development is a definite advantage. Run various frontend tools like MATLAB and RTL design tools. Work with physical design team on design constraint and timing closure, Work with verification team to collaborate on test plan, coverage plan, and coverage closure. Work with system & firmware team during design bring-up on Silicon or FPGA platform. Should have good communication (oral & written) skills, team player and ability to work in a large team environment.
Requirements:
o BSEE with 15+ years or MSEE with 12+ years or PhD with 9+ years experience in DSP & Analog Design
o Experience with digital signal processing and Matlab/Simulink is required
o Understand Engineering Requirement Specification and create an efficient micro-architecture for RTL implementation
o Strong RTL Design Skills using Verilog HDL
o Able to work in lab with logic analyzers and oscilloscope during Silicon/FPGA bring-up
o Experience with FPGA Design, C/C++ & Scripting languages (Perl/Tcl) is a plus
o Good knowledge of EDA tools. Experience with Low Power verification techniques and verifying mixed-signal ICs a plus
o Must be a team player with good oral and written communication skills
