Applicant requirements
All security employees of the Calloway County Jail shall be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
Employees shall have a high school diploma or GED.
All employees of the Calloway County Jail shall be subject to a thorough investigation of his or her background to include: criminal, medical and employment history.
Employees may be subject to drug testing at any time as directed by the Jailer.
Equal employment opportunities shall exist for all positions.
Employees shall maintain proper physical condition to be able to perform any job assignment.
Employees may be assigned any job assignment at the Jailer’s discretion and shall be able to physically perform duties assigned.
