Description:
The successful candidate will be engaged in FPGA and ASIC development for CMTS products. Responsibilities include requirements analysis, RTL coding, test-bench creation, simulation, FPGA place and route, and timing closure. Must be able to interface with management and work effectively with customers providing technical support to resolve technical issues.
Job Requirements:
- BSEE, MSEE desirable with 12+ years applicable engineering work experience, product development of Cable Modem (CM), Set-top box (STB) or Cable Modem Termination System (CMTS) products is a plus
- Knowledge of DOCSIS standard is a plus, but not required
- Experience developing FPGA and ASIC designs with elements including: embedded processors, high speed DDR3/4 memory, and 1G/10G/40G Ethernet/Serdes.
- Experience with FPGA development in Verilog and System Verilog
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills
