It is the primary responsibility of the Kitchen Worker to perform phases of kitchen cleaning to attain safe and sanitary conditions under the supervision of Assistant Executive Steward. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures.
Specific Job Functions:

Receive soiled dinnerware, flatware and glassware, placing items according to size and
similarity on automatic dishwashing conveyor belt
·
Operate dish washing machines
·
Remove washed dinnerware, flatware and glassware from automatic dishwasher and
stack them according to size and similarity for future use
·
Return items not satisfactorily cleaned for a second wash
·
Sweep and mop kitchen floors
·
Scrub walls and trashcans
·
Pick up trash in kitchen and loading dock area
·
Clean floor mats
·
Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department
Responsibilities/Qualifications:
·
Communicate effectively in English
A working knowledge of all cleaning equipment and proper chemical usage a must
Must have a friendly and professional demeanor
Must be able to work any shift
