Highly detailed, reliable, energetic individual needed to join a fast paced team of sample administrators performing a large variety of tasks. Position requires standing 50% of the time and lifting 50 pound coolers. The successful applicant must be very comfortable with computers and able to work with little supervision.

Duties:
· Receive samples and enter related data in database
· Test pH of incoming samples
· Resolve issues with samples received
· Putting samples away in designated locations throughout the laboratory.
· Greet customers who arrive at the laboratory and assist them with their samples.
· Assist office manager with administrative duties;
· Prepare preserved containers for inclusion in bottle kits;
· Assemble bottle kits for delivery to customers;
· Other duties as assigned
Skills/Qualifications:
· Entry-level applicants with a high school diploma or equivalent.
· GPA >3.0, detail oriented and strong work ethic.
· Ability to prioritize and manage simultaneous demands from several areas.
· College chemistry course is a plus
· Ability to apply critical thinking and reasoning to make appropriate decisions.
· Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work well with others.
· Ability to lift 50 pounds (48 quart ice chests filled with samples and ice).
· Must be willing to receive appropriate safety training to handle quart jars filled with potentially hazardous materials in a safe environment.
