The Wireless Connectivity FAE (HW/RF Focussed) will be responsible for all field technical support for products relating to Bluetooth, WLAN, and other Radio frequency Technologies.
Assist customers in their technical evaluation of the Broadcom products under consideration and give technical presentations. Perform schematic reviews, assist in RF tuning and HW troubleshooting/bringup at the customer site. Understand the products thoroughly and in order to answer customers’ questions regarding the products, providing timely and accurate information. Work with Sales Account Manager to increase demand for Broadcom products pertaining to hardware and software applications. Understand the customer’s application in order to identify key technology and product features for next generation products. Act as technical liaison between Design Teams/ Factory Application Teams and the customer.
– BSEE (MS a plus)
– 2+ years of FAE experience
– 6+ years of software development experience
– Must have working knowledge of 802.11 standard and TCP/IP networking
– Software/driver development experience in Linux and embedded OS environment
– Expertise in driver level issues including driver compilation, driver/firmware upgrade, tweaking drivers for performance improvement
– Exceptional people skills
– Ability to prioritize, multi task and deliver under pressure
