As a member of the GPS/Touch ASIC Implementation team, you will be part of the team implementing new Touch & GPS technologies in a variety of exciting consumer electronic devices. You will be directly involved in:
• Physical implementation of top-level and blocks using Hierarchical and Flat methodologies
• Die-Size Estimation, Floorplanning including multi-power domain, PG planning, block-shaping & clock-tree implementation
• Interfacing with internal external teams including Design, Packaging, Foundry, IP, Library
• Physical Verification of hierarchical chips
• Methodology & Flow development of Physical Design & Timing Closure
• Evaluation of new EDA tools & flows
• Developing the infrastructure of developing and implementing the flow required to achieve the physical & timing implementation goals of the product
• Working independently with the Synthesis & STA owners and RTL design team on Physical implementation and Power-intent requirements
Requirements:
• BSEE + 12 years, or MSEE + 9 years, or PhD + 6 years of experience
• Hands-on experience with industry-standard P&R (Atoptech is ideal) and STA (PrimeTime) tools
• Experience working on complex sub-micron hierarchical designs
• Experience identifying and resolving physical & timing implementation issues related to Congestion, Routing & Timing Closure(including Crosstalk)
• Experience with multi-voltage domains essential
• Proficiency with scripting languages
• Must be highly motivated, and demonstrate ability to work independently and as a member of a team
