Job description:
– Implement and verify video processing features. Translate complex DSP algorithms from written architecture specifications to working code.
– Optimize designs for minimal area and power. Maintain existing video processing blocks. Integrate video processing system into SOC’s by working with multi-site core teams,
tracking progress, reporting status, and running chip level RTL and gate simulations.
– Review and improve verification test suites. Analyze code coverage. Develop C-models. Resolve mismatches between design and C-model.
– Document designs, test plan and register interfaces. Participate in silicon bring-up, validation, and debugging. Develop ATE test vectors and resolve production issues.
– Participate in all phases of VLSI development, from concept, architecture, to design implementation, test plan, chip testing and debugging.
– Develop simulation bench and simulation model/Tools using behavioral Verilog or C programming.
– Working experience in video processing related design is a big plus.
– Working experience in UVM environment or Formal verification is a plus.
Job requirements:
1. Minimum MSEE + 6 years or BSEE + 9 years of digital design experience using Verilog.
2. High speed logic design and verification using HDL (Hardware Description Language), code coverage and Formal verification tool
3. Develop ‘C’, ‘C++’, Perl programming for design and verification modeling and utilities.
4. Working experience in video processing related design required. DSP skills and multimedia knowledge are a plus. Experience with UVM or Formal verification is helpful.
