Role Summary
We are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic and solid customer service communication and problem-solving skills to join our Help Desk Support staff This position will be supporting a retail point of sale system
Primary responsibility is to provide professional and courteous support for end users by resolving computer software and hardware problems and delivering customer service that will result in high customer satisfaction with SEI services and build a dedicated base of customers SEI will provide all the training you need to succeed in this position
Responsibilities
Accurately identify and troubleshoot support calls to resolution
Provide excellent customer service to all SEI client callers
Take ownership of support cases and follow up with customers as required
Effectively work to improve overall Help Desk and resolution knowledge to improve service
Competencies and Skills
Required High School Diploma or equivalent
Strong communication skills required
Strong experience with Microsoft Office products preferred
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
Ability to multi-task in a fast pace work environment
Demonstrated technical aptitude
Associates or Technical degree preferred but not required
Experience
Previous hardware/software troubleshooting experience
Basic networking education or experience
Previous help desk experience desired but not required
Previous IT or Computer Science education and/or technical certifications a plus but not required
Two years of customer service work experience is preferred
