Responsible for providing assistance in performing duties assigned to support the distribution organization related to work scheduling, coordination of work for the distribution line, service, and/or forestry work force, and/or reconciliation of material and labor for distribution activities. The job will combine the available personnel and equipment resources to assure that the jobs are completed timely and efficiently using the appropriate work management systems applications. 1.Support departmental staff in the scheduling of work, contract invoice administration, and/or reconciliation of labor and materials for distribution activities. 2. Provide assistance in the review incoming work, pre-check and correct as necessary; assist in maintaining current and accurate backlogs. 3. Interface with engineering, stores, distribution line, distribution service, and meter to assure a smooth work flow between all departments. 4. Interface with customers to assist with resolving customer concerns. 5. Assist in reviewing crew productivity and performance factors weekly. 6. Assist with reviewing and processing contractor invoices as needed. 7. Schedule and assist with other job related functions such as training and meetings. 8. Assist in coordinating planned outages and service restoration plans. 9. Promote and support the Company’s Accident Prevention and Safety and Health programs. 10. Demonstrate the highest standards of ethical behavior and support the Company’s Corporate Compliance Policy. 9. Provide general administrative support for the department. Education: High school diploma or equivalent education. Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in distribution operations including good working knowledge of distribution work processes and procedures. Must live within or be willing to relocate to within 30 minutes safe driving distance of the Kingsport Service Center, 420 Riverport Road, Kingsport, TN. |
