Explain policies, procedures, or services to patients using dental knowledge.
Schedule patients, register patients, collect and post payments, prepare treatment estimates for review with patient, run, balance and close end of day reports and all other duties as assigned.
Answers phone and provide information to callers; greet visitors/patients; schedules, verifies, and processes appointments; refers visitors/patients to appropriate person or department.
Keep electronic records of patient interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.
Determine charges for services rendered, collect payments, or arrange for billing.
Requirements:
High school diploma or eqivalent
Prior experience in dental field is highly desired
Must possess advanced and varied computer software skills. Must be adept at and committed to learning new programs and software skills as necessary.
Must be able to build positive relationships with patients and team members
Ability to work independently and with others in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Experience with M/S office products including Word, Excel, Outlook.
