The Specimen Collector in Roanoke, NC collects urine and oral fluid specimens at a client site for the purpose of conducting scientific testing for the presence of prescribed and unprescribed medications and illicit drugs. He/she will ensure the integrity of the process, package the specimens for shipment and maintain metrics for reporting purposes.
Additional Responsibilities will include: – Communication between the client, Specimen Collector Coordinators, and CorrLabs Management- Following the standard operating procedures for sample collection- Complete and maintain Compliance Training- Comply with all applicable safety requirements including the use of personal protective equipment- Obtain patient insurance information as needed- Maintain an excellent working knowledge of urine and saliva collection procedures- Encompass a “can do” attitude and represent CorrLabs in a professional, positive manner.
Successful candidates must possess: – High school diploma is required- Must have experience in specimen collection, experience with phlebotomy highly recommended- Medical assistant certification, phlebotomy certification, or Certified Nursing Aid certification is preferred- Customer Service experience is preferred.
