As the nation’s largest and most respected humanitarian organization, the American Red Cross is hiring Part-Time Outbound Call Center Representatives to fulfill our life-saving mission & make a difference in your community.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
As an Outbound Call Center Representative you’ll be calling former blood donors (and their friends) to “sell” or “persuade” them to schedule a new blood donation appointment. And every donation can save up to 3 lives!
WHO YOU ARE
- The phrases “detail-oriented,” “energetic,” and “doesn’t take ‘no’ for an answer” describe you.
- Friends frequently call you a “people person” and compliment your persuasion skills.
- Challenges don’t get you down—in fact, you thrive on finding ways to overcome them & persisting to meet sales goals.
- Comfortable in fast-paced environments and adapt to new technology with ease.
- You’re looking for part-time work; have a high school diploma (or equivalent); and at least one year of relevant experience in telemarketing, sales, customer service, or a call center environment.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
By meeting “sales” quotas for scheduling blood donation appointments you will improve our donor experience and increase the availability of blood products – literally saving lives across the nation and in your community.
SHIFTS AVAILABLE
- Monday–Thursday, 4:30pm–8:30pm and Sunday, 4pm–8pm
- We have regular paid training sessions (evenings for 2 weeks or days for 1 week)

Part-time positions that work a minimum of 20 hours per week are also eligible for health benefits, part-time PTO accrual, part-time holiday accrual, and a 401k savings program.
