Disabilities & Mental Health Services Specialist - Western Arizona Council of Governments - Yuma, AZ

Responsible for the planning, coordination, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of Head Start Services in the areas of Disabilities and Mental Health in Yuma, La Paz and Mohave Counties, according to Head Start Performance Standards, Federal and State compliance standards. Qualifications: BA/BS in Special Education, Child Development or Psychology with an Emphasis in Preschool Special Education or Early Childhood Education. An equivalent combination of experience and education that provides the knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered. A minimum of three (3) years direct experience working with children with disabilities is required and two (2) years management experience is desirable.
