If in the same week, you’d like to be a baker, a barrista, a sales person/waiter, this is for you. Through different shifts during the week, you will be able to do all this and gain tons of skills!
Following a short training, all staff will be responsible for preparing and serving all our products including but not limited to sandwiches, crepes, croissants, pastries… for guests. Also responsible for making coffees.
Assists and advises guests about our products, their ingredients and preparation. Weighs, labels and packages products as necessary.
Receives cash drawer at beginning of work shift, and counts money in drawer at end of shift to verify its accuracy. Collects cash, and/or credit card payment from guest and makes change for cash transactions, checks identification for traveler’s checks, and prepares voucher for credit card purchases.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing outstanding customer service.
- Offering recommendations on our products offering.
- Weighs, labels and packages products as necessary.
- Complies with all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies and procedures.
- Stocks counter and display refrigerators neatly, accurately and in a timely manner as per pricing menu.
- Checks to ensure that all display foods are merchandised attractively as per quality standards.
- Displays and stores food in the appropriate temperature conditions as per Department of Health standards.
- Completes food preparation assignments neatly, accurately and timely.
- Maintains proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards while preparing food, serving food and cleaning up.
- Keeps display equipment and counters clean and free of debris.
- Cleans equipment thoroughly and promptly as necessary or assigned.
- Keeps floor in work or service area clean.
- Cleans work station thoroughly before leaving area for other assignment or going home.
- Serves or packages food neatly and attractively as per department standards.
- Promptly informs management when food quantities or supplies are low.
- Adheres to all company and department procedures, policies, expectations and quality standards.
- Performing register transactions- Collects cash, checks or charge payments from guests. Makes change for cash transactions, verifies information for checks and prepares charge voucher for credit card purchases.
- Prepare sandwiches, crepes, and coffees following house recipes.
- Be in a good mood!
Skills & Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions. Previous customer service/sales experience preferred. Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations. Must have a strong desire to learn.
- High school diploma desired or equivalent. Prior knowledge of the products being sold at the specified counter is desirable. Illinois Food Handler’s certification required.
- Position requires standing, bending and mobility the entire work day. Must be able to lift full pans, not to exceed 50 pounds. Cleaning duties such as wiping counters and small equipment, sweeping and refilling stock. Must be able to communicate politely and effectively with guests and other employees.
- Ability to work and multi-task in a fast paced environment.

This place has the most perfect environment, great food, tasty wings, lots of good beer, but best of all - probably the best wait staff in all of country. Visited these party venues last month again, had another great time.
