The HPC storage solutions program manager will provide engagement management for Intel’s key HPC storage and file system partners and coordinate cross-functional activities including program management, marketing, engineering, qualification and support to drive competitive solutions integrating Intel Omni-Path with industry-leading storage solutions. Primary responsibilities will include engagement management, product feature and integration requirements tracking, development coordination, pre-release product delivery, qualification and launch coordination for integrated storage solutions. The successful candidate will:
- have extensive experience with integration of storage solutions into HPC cluster environments, including solution architecture, server and client protocol requirements, and performance considerations.
- effectively balance coordination of internal resources and deliveries with meeting partner and customer expectations to ensure Intel’s delivery, financial and customer satisfaction goals are met.
- possess strong written & verbal communications skills, strong interpersonal/collaboration skills, and will effectively status and manage expectations of senior management and customers.
- be an innovative self-starter with prior hardware and/or software development experience and will be well versed in project management methodology and best practices (ex. PMBOK) and use of Microsoft Office (including Visio and Project), SharePoint, etc.

Qualifications
- A degree in technology, engineering, computer science or related field and significant storage experience required (Bachelor’s Degree / 3+ Years, Master’s Degree / 2 Years, PhD Degree).
- 4+ years of experience supporting cross-functional teams including marketing, engineering, test, operations, support and finance to successfully coordinate all aspects of adoption, qualification, launch, support and sustaining engineering of HPC storage products (ex. DDN, Seagate, Lustre, GPFS).
- 4+ years of experience in project management methodology and best practices (ex. PMBOK) and use of Microsoft Office (including Visio and Project), and SharePoint.
- Prior experience effectively balancing coordination of internal resources and deliveries with meeting partner and customer expectations to ensure delivery, financial and customer satisfaction goals are met, and effectively providing status to and managing expectations of senior management and customers.
- Able to demonstrate strong written & verbal communications skills, and strong interpersonal/collaboration skills.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- An innovative self-starter.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science.
